A little black dress is essential to any wardrobe, it's a timeless piece that you can wear over and over in a ton of different ways. I chose this black dress from H&M because it has a flirty vibe to it which I felt would be perfect for a night out. For the work look, I wore a light pink blazer to provide some coverage as well as a hint of color. To keep the look conservative I only wore stud earrings, a gold watch and plain black shoes.
There are so many ways to change up your look from day to night but to keep this switch under one minute I made only a few small changes. For starters, I removed the blazer to showcase the peplum and ruffle details of the dress. I love that this dress is made out of viscose material because it gives the dress a silky feel. To draw attention to my waist I added a cute stretchy gold belt that has a heart with rhinestones. Changed my shoes into something a bit more fun and trendy. To add more interest to this look I put on a bright lipstick and accessorized with a gold necklace and clear clutch. I would love to know what you all thought about this post, please leave me a comment! I'd be happy to do another post like this because it was a lot of fun.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!!
The highlight of my day was meeting these two lovely ladies while taking pictures by the Seaport. I just love it when my readers come up to me and ask, "Are you Suzy's Closet?" It makes me feel great when they tell me how much they love my blog! I truly value the connections I've been able to make through being a fashion blogger. If you ever see me around the city striking a pose feel free to interrupt, I love to talk! Lol
