This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and Neutrogena. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Whether you love or hate your hair, you must admit it has a huge impact on your mood and confidence. For me, rainy days and humidity are my worst enemies because I prefer straight hair over my natural curls. Although I love the feeling of getting my hair done at the salon I prefer doing it myself. Mostly because it saves me time; spending an entire Saturday at the salon is not my idea of fun. Another great thing about doing my own hair is that it saves me a ton of money and who doesn't love that? I've cut, dyed, styled and even did my own ombré at home using affordable hair products.
I'm a beauty junkie that loves trying out new products so I was eager to try out the Neutrogena Triple Moisture line. I hand't heard about these hair products before using them this past weekend and now I can't stop talking about them! I'm guilty of using heat styling tools on a daily basis and sometimes forgetting to protect my hair. After just three uses I already see and feel a major difference in the way my hair looks. In this post, I will provide you with a step-by-step tutorial on how I get my hair pin straight using Neutrogena Triple Moisture hair products. I'm so excited to share this with you because it's such a production to get my hair how I like it and now you will know my struggle, lol. We all have our own favorite hairstyle, I simply love straight hair!
Step 1: I washed and conditioned my hair using the Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo & Daily Deep Conditioner. The shampoo is great for severely dry hair because it's formulated with naturally derived ingredients proven to deeply moisturize all three layers of the hair strand. The conditioner helps tame fly-aways and frizz while helping to detangle and soften hair.
Step 2: I then used the Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask (concentrating more on my ends) for 5 minutes. A great and affordable intensive moisture treatment for extra dry and over-processed hair (use once a week).
Step 3: After towel drying my hair, I detangled it with my Goody TangleFix brush. I then applied a small amount of Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream all over my hair. The light texture does not weigh hair down and helps improve hair quality with every use!
Step 4: Straightening my hair can be a grueling process so I try to have a little fun with it by singing into my Conair soft gel handle round brush.
Step 5: Now it's time to blow dry my mane!!! This usually takes about 20 minutes. I section my hair into two parts and start blow drying the bottom part first.
Step 6: I spray a little heat protectant all over my hair and then begin to straighten it with the flat iron at 400 degrees (might be too hot for some people but I have a lot of hair).
Would you have ever guessed that I dyed my hair the same day these pictures were taken? Yep! Usually after I dye my hair it gets very rough and stiff but with these products it's softer and more manageable than ever!!! My hair doesn't even smell like I just dyed it. I would highly recommend these products to anyone who wants to get shiny, soft, hydrated and great smelling hair! Get more information about these Neutrogena hair products here.
Now that I've shared my favorite hairstyle, I'd love to know what's yours?
