Rent The Runway: Time of Your Life Dress

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending my cousins wedding celebration at Jericho Terrace in Mineola, NY. Family is very important to me so I was super excited and happy to meet my cousins wife and celebrate with our new family members. The reception was absolutely beautiful and I loved the Winter Wonderland theme. When I heard about the theme I knew I wanted to wear something elegant with a modern twist but never did I imagine finding the "Time of Your Life Dress." Since I knew I would only be wearing the dress for this special occasion I automatically turned to Rent The Runway. I envisioned myself wearing a blue lace dress that would be both fun and comfortable. I managed to find exactly what I was looking for after browsing through a few of the cocktail dresses that were within my budget. I absolutely loved my experience with Rent The Runway and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a designer dress (on a budget) that will turn heads!

My rental was only $30!!!! I received the dress in two sizes to ensure I'd have the perfect fit and it arrived on-time via messenger to my job. Returning it was easy as pie, all I had to do was put the dresses inside of a pre-addressed UPS envelope and take it to the nearest drop-box within 2 days. Rent The Runway saved me time, money and the headache of having to go out and look for a dress.

RTR also offers accessories for rent but since I didn't want to take away from the dress I decided to pair it with a few simple pieces of my own. I accessorized with a pair of emerald statement earrings from Gabby's House of Jewelry (Holiday Collection), a simple gold bracelet from H&M and a metallic gold clutch from Nine West. My makeup was pretty simple, I incorporated a bold red lipstick and nail polish because red is my go-to color when trying to achieve a classic look. I don't like wearing my hair up (I have my weird reasons) so I created soft waves and pushed them to the side. I used a small bobby pin and hairspray to keep the hair in place.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!!!
