I usually put my outfits together first and then look for a pair of shoes that go with it but this time I did the total opposite. I wanted to put an outfit together that would go with these suede peep toe lace up booties from Forever 21. The moment I saw them I knew I had to have them! I always say it's a sign when I find the last item available in my size so it was a given that these bad boys were coming home with me. Just when I thought I couldn't get any luckier, they rang up to $10.80 (original price $42.80)!!! Boom!
I decided to mix textures to play up the edginess of the booties so I wore a pleated faux leather skirt and a chambray shirt, both from my favorite store - Forever 21.
Whenever I wear dark colors I always try to add a pop of color because I love being bright! You can easily incorporate color to your look with accessories, nail polish, lipstick and eyeshadow. Subtle but it does the trick. This technique is a great way to start adding color to your look, especially for those of you who tend to wear a lot of black.
I'm so in love with Wet n Wild's lipsticks! Especially this bright pink one called "Dollhouse." I really like how it pops out in all of the pictures.
We didn't take a lot of pictures outside because it was super windy and cold. My skirt and hair were flying around everywhere :(
