Hi my loves! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine catching up on sleep and spending time with my boyfriends family. Sometimes the best plan is to not have any plans, lol. When I don't have any plans I usually spend the day at home organizing. Yesterday was all about storing my open-toe shoes and making my boots and booties accessible. If you're looking for someone to help you with this process send me an email, I provide closet revamp services on a budget ;)

Sometimes I wear things once and won't wear it again for a very long time. But when I do decide to wear it again, I try to style it differently. This peplum top is what I wore on my anniversary last December. The weather was not very nice so I wore it with woven pants and cap-toe heels (see below). I like to wear bright colors, especially on gloomy days so I dug it out of my closet and paired it with a pencil skirt for work. I love combining peplum tops with pencil skirts because it makes me feel feminine and flirty!
I have a ton of pencil skirts but I really like this one because of the gold button detail on the side. Small details add personality to your look and help to make the look YOURS. A few gold-tone accessories and red lipstick got the Suzy seal of approval! Always remember that you wear the clothes, not the other way around. You could find a shirt for $1 and rock it like it's worth $1,000 as long as you make it your own and feel confident wearing it.
