Spring is only 16 days away!!! I can't tell you how excited I am about the arrival of Spring, not only because of the nice weather but also the fun trends. The floral trend is one that I didn't get to really explore last year but I'm glad it's back! I went to JCPenney last week to check out the Pearl Collection by Georgina Chapman of Marchesa and spotted this cropped tuxedo style floral blazer by Bisou Bisou for $30. The floral pattern and bright colors drew my attention so I tried it on and knew it would be a great addition to my blazer collection. The cut of this blazer and light padding on the shoulders accentuate my pear shaped figure. I strongly believe in trying on clothes before you buy them. Always dress for YOUR body type, what looks good on your friend may not necessarily look good on you. Identifying your body type is pretty simple; stay tuned for my tips on how to identify your body type.
At first, I was thinking of wearing the blazer with regular blue jeans but then I thought some bright-colored jeans would be better. These Gap jeans I found on sale for $16.97 made the colors on the blazer pop. I kept everything else neutral to complete this effortless Springtime look.
My makeup is simple yet fresh! I lined my lower lash line with white eyeliner - great way to give you a bright-eyed look! Rosy cheeks with BH Cosmetics blush palette and on my lips I'm wearing "Just Peachy" by Wet n Wild.
