Buying good quality clothing doesn't mean you have to spend a lot. I purchased this cozy rib-knit sweater at H&M while in Las Vegas for $14.95! It's made up of 48% acrylic (which makes is super soft) and 50% nylon. I looked through that rack so fast for my size that I probably looked like a crazy lady. A sweater like this matches with almost anything and can be worn with jeans, skirts, leggings or even over a dress. For a trendy & work-friendly look I paired it with a faux leather pencil skirt from Forever 21 and patent leather heels from Zara. I wanted the sweater to be the focal point of my look so I did not incorporate any color except my lipstick and nail polish.
When I initially purchased these shoes, I didn't notice that the heels were suede. I love details like this!
Sweater: H&M ($14.95)
Skirt/Necklace: Forever 21 ($17.80)
Shoes: Zara ($49.90)
Lipstick: Maybelline in Flawless Fuchsia
Nail polish: Blanc-Morena in I AM Worthy
Overall, I'm very happy with the way this look came together. The handbag I'm wearing was a gift from my boyfriend's co-worker (shout out to Conrad! lol), this was actually my first time wearing it. I thought it would help break up the black and add some texture to my outfit. I'm not really into reptile prints but I just love this handbag! It's very spacious, has a ton of different compartments and comes with an extra strap to wear it as a crossbody. Hopefully, I can incorporate it into some more of my looks this season!
