Hello everyone + hello November!!!
I can't believe how fast the time is going, feels like just yesterday it was summer. With Fall in the air I thought it would nice to share some new pieces that I recently added to my wardrobe courtesy of Tobi. If you're not familiar with Tobi you should definitely check them out because they have a ton of cute dresses, skirts, tops, pants, jumpsuits, outerwear and shoes. Plus, all new customers receive 50% off their entire purchase by joining their mailing list. They also provide free shipping for orders over $50 and free returns!
The first item I selected from their website was this lace up shift dress because I love pairing dresses with leggings in the Fall. It's a great way to keep warm and comfortable. Lately I've been into this mauve color and anything with lace up details which is why I chose this dress. The only thing I didn't like about this dress is that it gets wrinkled very easily because of the rayon material but I feel it would have been less noticeable in the black or olive color.

This suede moto jacket is also from Tobi, it comes in a beige/ivory color and is currently available to new customers for $66!! I always say no outfit is complete without the right outerwear, shoes and accessories so I've been trying to incorporate different jackets into my wardrobe. To play up the moto style of the jacket I paired it with some acid wash jeans, crop top, booties and aviator sunglasses. I would highly recommend going a size up for most of the items Tobi carries because I got this jacket in a size small and I could barely close it.

My third and favorite piece from Tobi.com has to be this anorak coat because of the length, adjustable waistband and removable fur trim around the hood. It's very warm and since I got it in a size medium I can also wear it with a thick sweater underneath.

Hey Loves! I know its been a while since my last blog post but that's because I've been working on something new!!! I'm excited to announce that I finally launched a YouTube channel and I've been focusing on creating content there. It took me a long time to finally get over my fear of speaking in front of the camera and even though I'm still super shy, I feel like creating videos is helping me grow and interact with all of you. There are a few videos up on my channel, if you haven't checked them out you definitely should! Don't forget to subscribe so you receive an email notification every time I post a new video.
Today's post is a little different from what I normally post on the blog because I'm trying to incorporate new things. I'm a big fan of home decor because I like being able to personalize where live and work. I teamed up with an online shop called Ankit to share with you a few items they sent me to decorate my workspace. Ankit has the cutest home decor and tech accessories, it was hard to select what I wanted because I literally wanted EVERYTHING!
Below are all the items and links of the things I chose. Save 15% on your order with promo code: GIMMIE15
P.S. Is it weird that I use my coffee mugs to hold pens and makeup brushes??
Trying to figure out what to wear is a daily struggle for me. Mostly because I have way too many clothes but also because I tend to overthink things (the struggle). Today's look is the complete opposite of what I usually go through when I get ready. The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to wear a pair of high waisted jeans. The rest of the outfit just kinda fell together and I must say, I love it!
I also want to mention that there's a new video up on my YouTube channel. It's a first impression/demo of the L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Mask, go check it out!

I'm not in college anymore but I do remember struggling every day with not knowing what to wear to class. Although I wasn't as fashionable back then, comfort was always a must and still is. With back-to-school season in full effect, I decided to put together three outfits that are not only fashionable but also easy and affordable to recreate. To make this post a little more interesting I raided my younger sisters college student wardrobe just to show how a few tweaks can take a simple little black dress, pencil skirt and sweat pants up a few notches.
I also created a lookbook wearing these outfits, the video is up on my YouTube channel. Be sure to like and subscribe since I will be posting more fashion and beauty videos soon!!!

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with NEUTROGENA and Latina Bloggers Connect. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Hola! I know its been a while since my last blog post but I'm back and ready to get into the swing of things. Today I'm going to be sharing details on how I beat breakouts with Neutrogena. There are so many things that can cause breakouts - stress, dirt, sweat, spicy foods, the products you use and the list goes on. One of the ways I prevent breakouts before they happen is by removing my makeup before I work out with facial wipes, like Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes Pink Grapefruit for Acne-Prone Skin. These facial wipes are one of my favorites because they cleanse my skin of pore-clogging impurities without leaving my face feeling greasy. I keep a pack in my gym bag and in my nightstand so I never have an excuse for not removing my makeup.
Post workout I wash my face with the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser. I really like using this cleanser after I work out because it's formulated to treat and help prevent breakouts without over-drying or irritating the skin, which is perfect for me because I have very dry and sensitive skin. Neutrogena is one of my favorite drugstore brands because I feel they get it right when it comes to skincare. They have a new collection called Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne which contains benzoyl peroxide (the acne medicine dermatologists recommend most). I like to use the Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne line even though I don't suffer from acne because when used daily it helps stop breakouts before they appear.
The Stubborn Acne Daily Leave-On Mask is unlike a typical mask because it vanishes into the skin upon application and can be applied three times a day to rapidly treat stubborn breakouts. There's also a On-the-Spot Acne Treatment which I like to use directly on my breakouts when they do occur. I love the fact that although it's a maximum strength treatment it doesn't irritate my skin like other spot treatments I've used. I was expecting this collection to have a strong unpleasant scent but it actually smells really good.
If you're unsure about which Neutrogena acne products are right for your skin, check out the SolveMyAcne.com quiz. Share your results on social media, using hashtag #LetsSolveIt and tag @Neutrogena

I’m back from Florida, where I spent the last two weeks visiting my family. We went shopping, hit the beach, watched movies, laughed uncontrollably and ate way too much. With the 4th of July right around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to shoot the images for today’s post while in Florida. My Godmother suggested Centennial Park in Fort Myers, which was beyond perfect for the looks I put together for this campaign with Target.
I’ve said it 100 times before and I’ll say it again: Target has everything you need to add a new twist to your style. With the items I found at Target, I was able to create three celebratory looks that are not only on-trend and sophisticated, but also budget-friendly. Definitely a win-win situation!
For the first outfit, I went for a sophisticated look with this black-and-white plaid skirt from Who What Wear, and incorporated blue and red accents to give the look a patriotic feel. I love pencil skirts because they accentuate my curves and are perfect for the office or a night out. This skirt would also look cute with an off-the-shoulder blouse and low-top sneakers.
The second look I put together was more casual and fun. You can never go wrong with a white t-shirt, blue jeans and comfy sneakers. I added this linen belted vest from Who What Wear, a red bandana and sunglasses to give the outfit a modern flair. Swap out the sneakers for heels, cinch the belt around your waist, add a clutch and remove the bandana for an instant transformation.
Last is this two-piece swimsuit from Xhilaration (top / bottom) that I paired together myself. I love mixing different pieces to create a one-of-a-kind look. Target has so many different bathing suits to choose from, I literally spent at least 30 minutes browsing the racks. These pieces caught my attention because I knew they would flatter my pear-shaped figure. Target also carries a good selection of one-piece bathing suits.
A huge thank you to my Godmother for taking my pictures in 100-degree weather. She’s the real MVP.
How will you elevate your 4th of July style?

Santa Monica Pier was another place I visited while in Los Angeles. The Pier was smaller than I expected but still beautiful and charming. There was a large crowd enjoying the beach, restaurants, shops and amusement park. It was so relaxing to stroll the boardwalk and take in the scenery. The weather was fairly nice so I wore an off-the-shoulder top with skinny jeans. Don't you just love when old trends come back in style? Lately, I've been obsessed with chokers and everything off-the-shoulder...so 90's!!!! I completed my casual outfit with these dope sunglasses from Quay Australia that I picked up at Top Shop. They're called 'On the Prowl' and retail for $60.

I'm back in New York and already missing Los Angeles. I had an amazing time and wanted to share some pictures from my trip. The first stop on my list was the Hollywood Walk of Fame which pretty much was like Times Square but with palm trees, nothing like I imagined. The following day I hit up The Getty Center which was absolutely beautiful! The architecture, views and exhibitions were stunning and a great way to kick-off the rest of my vacation. I opted for sandals and a vintage off-the-shoulder blue dress which I ordered from SheIn for only $15.70!!! It was the perfect dress for the weather and occasion, I felt super comfy and cute.

I’ m so excited about spending the next six days in Los Angeles and even more excited that I was selected for this How-To campaign with Target about packing light and looking fab. It took me a while to learn how to pack when traveling because I literally want to take everything with me. Which honestly isn’t practical because I end up not using half the stuff I bring. I’m glad to say that after going over the maximum luggage weight limit multiple times, I finally know how to look fashionable on vacation without bringing my entire closet. I hope my pointers are able to help you to not only avoid having to unpack at the airport, but also to try new things when it comes to your style, techniques and the products you use.
For this trip, I wanted to get a few new things to wear so I hit up Target because it’s one of my favorite places to shop. I love that I can go to Target before my vacation and pick up toiletries, snacks, magazines, clothes and accessories. Target almost always has something I want in their women’s department because they have a great selection of trendy and affordable items to refresh my style each season.
How-To: Travel Light & Right
Before I start packing, I count how many days I will be going away; this helps me estimate how many outfits I need to plan. Then I check the weather forecast where I will be going. Lastly, I think about what I will be doing during my vacation (i.e. beach, sightseeing, etc.) to help me determine what kind of shoes and clothes to bring.
Since I will be doing a lot of sightseeing in LA, comfort is key. I packed a bunch of jeans, sneakers, loose tops and a cute romper because that’s what I feel most comfortable in. I’ve been tracking the weather and it’s in the low to mid 70’s so I definitely need a few jackets. Selecting pieces that are versatile and neutral is essential when you want to pack light because you don’t want to take a bunch of things you will only wear once. On my last run to Target, I bought this denim jacket by Merona because I knew it would look great with almost any outfit – maxi dress, jeans, skirt or shorts. I found this pleated skirt in the Who What Wear section at Target and I thought it would be perfect for a dinner date. I opted to drape the denim jacket over this look to give it a different vibe.
Santa Monica Beach is on my list of places to visit so I packed a swimsuit, beach bag and sandals. I’ve been on the hunt for a straw beach bag and of course Target had this adorable two-toned straw beach bag, just what I was looking for! It’s the perfect size for my beach towel, change of clothes, sunblock and snacks (I always have to walk around with snacks).
I’m very keen on skincare, so my facial and body products go with me everywhere. It’s super important to protect your skin from the sun, especially your face. This Neutrogena oil-free facial moisturizer is great because it’s lightweight and has SPF 15. Another great way to protect your face from the sun’s harmful rays is to use a foundation that has SPF and wear a oversized floppy hat.
Once I have all of my outfits set, I start folding each item as compact as possible and place it neatly into my suitcase. I like to keep all of my toiletries in a separate bag within my suitcase just in case something bursts. To avoid the extra weight, I purchase travel-size products and I bring samples of shampoos, conditioners, hair serums, perfumes and lotions. Another little tip is to wear your heaviest shoes and jacket/handbag on travel day so you don’t have to pack them.

Have you ever seen something you wanted but didn't buy it and it haunts you? Well, that's exactly what happened to me with this faux leather jacket from Zara. I had been eyeing it since March and I finally gave in and bought it. A bright colored jacket is exactly what I needed to refresh my style. I love the details on this jacket and how versatile it is. For today's post I styled the jacket during the day and for a night out.
